Yurt holidays are an eco-friendly way to enjoy your leisure time, and the Hoopee Yurt Hotel is an eco-friendly ethical holiday with locally sourced food!

This Yurt campsite in Spain runs on solar power and the yurts have overhead and bedside lights as well as sockets for charging mobile phones and laptops. They all have private bathrooms with hot showers and ecological loos.

Each yurt has an acre of private meadow with seating area. The mixture of open meadow and forest provides the perfect habitat for dozens of species of birds, and in the spring the meadows are carpeted with a huge variety of wild flowers. There is also a small pool to cool down in.

In the evening you are served with a three course dinner using food that is either from their kitchen garden or produced locally. There is also a plentiful supply of wine. Once a week you are treated to a film which is shown outdoors against the side of a yurt!

Cortes de la Frontera is a typical Andalucian white village and is only a twenty minute walk or five minute drive away. In the village there are shops, bars and restaurants, and a couple of night clubs. There are also banks, a post office, a medical centre, and a public open air swimming pool.
